Padraic, which means Patrick in Gaelic, is originally from Co. Cavan, Ireland. He’s worked in Sydney and at the famed Bourbon & Beefsteak Bar in King’s Cross, Australia, as well as throughout New York City. He can often be found behind-the-scenes at Murphy & Gonzalez.
Martin Sheil
Proprietor
Martin is originally from Dublin, Ireland. He and Padraic crossed paths in New York City. Martin has an extensive 30+ year career in the bar and restaurant business. A staple in the Village, Martin is well-known among the locals.
Anthony DeMarsico
Chef
Peeking around the corner and hand-delivering food to tables is Chef Anthony. He makes everything fresh and best, winning 4-Star reviews from the New York Times and various mentions in Gourmet, and Bon Appetite magazines. Anthony has also been featured on Food Network television. A native New Yorker, he’s big on food and known, among other things, for his award-winning corned beef and cabbage. He says the menu is just a suggestion and is happy to whip up something tastefully unexpected at the drop of a chili pepper.
